All candidates must have:

  • Reliable transportation

  • Valid driver's license

  • Able to work a flexible schedule as needed
  • Licensed Child Trauma Clinician for Child and Adolescent Trauma Program (35 hours)
  • Masters in Mental Health Counseling or Social Woqk
  • 2 years experience working with traumatized youth
  • Training in trauma-based treatments, ie. TF-CBT, ARC
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural, multi-racial setting with people of all races Bi-lingual Spanish preferred


  • Provide clinical assessments to child/adolescent trauma victims
  • Provide individual, parent-child, family treatment
  • Provide group treatment services to children
  • Refer to community centers for psychiatric treatment and psychological evaluation
  • Provide and participate in conferences, trainings and workshops

  • Relief Staff
    Under the direction of the site Shelter Manager, this individual will act as an advocate for residents and may provide hotline coverage. Candidate must be available for overnight, weekend and Holiday shifts and must be prepared to staff any of three residential sites on the south coast. Experience with clients with domestic violence, substance abuse or mental health issues and Bachelors degree preferred. Bilingual a plus.
